    Paddling in a canoe, kayak or raft can be enjoyed at many of the lakes and reservoirs. Swimming and picnicing by the water can also be an enjoyable summer trip.

Hiking:

Visit the Foresthill Ranger District of Tahoe National Forest, and the Foresthill Trails Alliance for comprehensive lists of the many hiking trail in the area.

The Stevens Trail (The Stevens Trail is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
