Visitor Info:
We encourage visitors to view these beautiful working dogs in their natural environment.Admission is free. The races begin at China Wall Staging area, 12 miles north of downtown Foresthill. Due to limited parking at the race venue, visitors will be bussed from Foresthill to China Wall. Fee for the round trip bus ride is $5/person or $15/family. Buses will leave downtown Foresthill at the top of every hour beginning at 8:00 a.m. Buses will return from China Wall 30 minutes after the hour beginning at 8:30 a.m. and continuing until 3:30 p.m.
Visitors are welcome to visit the shops and restaurants in town. In addition, vendors will be selling their wares in the Grey Barn along Foresthill Road across from the Fire Station for your convenience.
Peddler's Fair:
Vendors are invited to setup booths on the empty lot next to Ore Cart on Saturday March 10th to sell your products. Please submit the
vendor form to the Chamber Office to be included in the Vendor Fair.

China Wall Activities: 
Besides the sled dog races, activities will be held at China Wall including a snow man building contest, Pee Wee Sled Dog Rides
and many other fun family events. Meet McGruff the Crime Dog and learn how you can prevent crime in your neighborhood.
Visitors are welcome to bring your personal sleds or snow shoes to play in the snow.
Food vendors will be available at the venue selling hot coffee, drinks, hamburgers, hotdogs and other goodies for your enjoyment.
Meet the Mushers at Dinner!
A community dinner will be held Sat night March 10th at 5:30 p.m. at theVeteran's Memorial Hall on Harrison St. in Foresthill. All are welcome to attend. Advance dinner tickets are $17/person and $8/children's menu until Wed March 7th. Tickets purchased after March 7th and at the door are $20/person and $10/children's menu. Raffle tickets will be available for sale to win a multitude of donated raffle prizes. Mushers will be assigned to a specific table so that all visitors will get an opportunity to hear about the sport first-hand. Dinner will be catered by Foothill Culinary Creations from Auburn, CA.

Mushers: Registration is done in advance through Sierra Nevada Dog Drivers at www.sndd.com. Mushers should check in Friday afternoon March 9th beginning from 7-9:00 p.m. at Campelli's Pizza Community Room (formerly Pizza Factory) on Main St. in Foresthill.
A free dinner ticket will be included with your registration fee. Should you need additional dinner tickets, please reserve them in advance with the Chamber office.

Special Note: This year has been exceptionally dry in the Sierra Mountains. Should there not be enough snow to run this event, the determination will be made 1 week in advance and notifications will be sent to all involved. We ask everyone to do their very best 'Snow Dance' to bring it on!!
